By Sarah Edwards at

A new energy company has chosen Bicester for its new headquarters saying the town offers community, sustainability and innovation.

Valda Energy, provides electricity and gas to businesses, and expects to be providing the local community with employment opportunities across a range of skill sets.

Steve James, CEO of Valda Energy, explains: “Just one of the many reasons we wanted to secure our head office in Bicester, is because it’s recognised for its community, sustainability and innovation – something that matches our vision for Valda Energy. We aim to deliver a profitable, sustainable and recognisable alternative to the current crop of gas, electricity and renewable suppliers in the market.”

“We will combine the latest technology, renewable energy generation and best people practices to deliver a market leading customer focused service. Putting people first doesn’t just stop with our customers, we are creating a working environment that attracts, rewards and retains the best staff available.”

David Soper, Commercial Director at Valda Energy, added: “We are also keen to support the local Bicester business community with our lowest energy prices. Interested businesses should contact our call centre on 0330 390 4510 quoting BICESTER, to discuss a discounted rate for their electricity and gas rates, based on their requirements and eligibility. We will be offering competitive rates, a variety of options for customers (from sole traders to multi-site businesses), use of the latest technology and because of our size, be more agile, adaptive and customer focused.”
