Festive fun at Heyford Park

By Sarah Edwards at

Spreading Christmas cheer at Heyford Park, developer Dorchester Living will bring Christmas cheer to the Oxfordshire development with a range of festive activities tomorrow ( Saturday 24 November).
Fun for all the family, a Christmas market will be held between 10am – 4pm at the Heritage Centre, Heyford Park, OX25 5HA. The event will showcase a Santa’s Grotto, face painting, biscuit icing and a raffle, whilst visitors can also walk through and enjoy 16 market stalls selling a range of items perfect to give to family and friends as Christmas presents.
A range of food and drink will be served including German sausages and mulled wine. The food, drink and some activities will be purchasable on a cash-only basis, with proceeds from the event being donated to a charity chosen by Dorchester Living at the end of the year. Dorchester Living is also delighted to launch on the same day, its popular annual Letter to Santa Competition for young people aged 3-11 years old.
In this two-part creative competition, participants are tasked with producing a list of presents they would like to receive from Santa this Christmas, as well as drawing a Christmas themed picture of their own design. The winning entry will be selected by a representative at Dorchester Living and will receive a £100 Amazon gift card, with £50 Amazon gift cards offered to two runners-up. Entries must be submitted by 5pm on Sunday 16 December to the Heyford Park Marketing Suite, Camp Road, Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, OX25 5HD. Entrants are asked to include a parent/guardian’s name, the name of the entrant, a telephone number, email address and postcode.
Jeanne Evett, sales and marketing director for Dorchester Living, said: “We are really excited about our upcoming Christmas activities this year. The market will be a great chance for the community to come together and help to raise money for a good cause, and we also can’t wait to see all the creative submissions in our Letter to Santa competition.”
